What Features Are Most Important to You?

What Features Are Most Important to You?

Here comes the fun part: discussing your vision about features you would love for your new home to have! There is an overwhelming amount of possibilities out there, so your realtor should help you to stay focused on making a list of what features are most important to you.

  • Two key elements to keep in mind? The location and the lifestyle the area provides.

Of course it’s important to prioritize the physical property and the assets a particular home offers you, but the neighborhood the home is located in matters almost as much

Consider what kind of lifestyle you want to live outside of your home. Do you want quick access to jump on a mountain and hike? Do you need to be close to the highway to make your commute easier for work? These are important variables to take into consideration as well!

Make a list and prioritize the variables that are most important to you, giving the top priority the most weight. Something prospective buyers quickly come to learn is that there will never be a home that has everything you are looking for, so it’s important to be clear on your deal breakers, or the items that are essential for you. That way, you feel comfortable compromising in other areas but still feel good about the home you are getting!
