Cheers to pumpkin spice season! Four Peaks’ Pumpkin Porter is available now…

It’s the second week of August and that means it is officially time for … pumpkin? According to one Arizona brewery, the answer is yes.

Four Peaks Brewing Company announced on Friday, Aug. 9 that its seasonal Pumpkin Porter is now available at the two Phoenix-area Four Peaks pubs and in some stores across the Valley.

For those who prefer a pour, the Tempe brewery, which Anheuser-Busch InBev bought in 2015, will host a Pumpkin Porter release party on Aug. 25 at its Scottsdale and Tempe pubs. At the events, fans can toast with a draft pint of the fall classic, known for its blend of nutmeg, allspice, ground clove, ginger and pumpkin.

Where to find six-packs of Pumpkin Porter

If you can’t wait to get in the spooky spirit, individual bottles and six-packs of the porter are available at select Valley locations of Total Wine & More. Call your local store to confirm pricing. Six-packs are also available for $10 each at the Four Peaks pubs in Tempe and Scottsdale.

The seasonal favorite will look a little different this year because the porter will come in glass bottles and feature a new logo, according to a video announcement on Four Peaks’ Facebook page.

The familiar pumpkin sketch and black background have been traded for a row of cute and spooky carved pumpkins in front of a purple sky, taking the beer from fall-themed to all-out Halloween haunted.

Though the packaging may look different, its precious cargo remains the same.

And more pumpkin beer’s on the way. Four Peaks’ Double Pumpkin imperial porter, another fall favorite with amped up flavor and alcohol content, will be released on draft at the two pubs in October.
